Vandalism in downtown OP

In regards to the downtown vandalism, the Overland Park Police Department has developed a suspect and the case will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s office for review. The Overland Park Police Department would like to thank the community for the many tips we received, and especially the local media for their ongoing support.

The Overland Park Police Department took several reports on the morning of March 22 in downtown Overland Park regarding damage to windows and glass doors.

Over sixteen businesses were affected. At this time, it is believed the suspect(s) used a BB or pellet gun. The suspect vehicle is described as a white Ford Ranger extended cab, missing the front hood. It appears the suspect vehicle has silver bed rails along the top, and a possible black cover. Attached are several photos of the suspect vehicle.
