Shooting investigation at Home Depot

(August 19, 2015 - Overland Park, KS) This morning, around 8:10 A.M., officers responded to a report of shots fired at the Home Depot store located off of W. 135th and Hemlock in Overland Park.

The two male victims exited the store and observed a Hispanic male inside their work van. They confronted the suspect and a physical altercation took place. A second suspect attempted to intervene, and it was at that time one of them pulled a gun and fired a round over their shoulder in the direction of the victims. None of the victims or any bystanders were struck.

The suspects fled the area in a grey sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima or a Toyota Camry, bearing Kansas plates. The vehicle was last seen heading east on I-435 Highway.
