Antioch Road closing Wednesday through Sunday

Overland Park, KS - Antioch Road will close to traffic beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, through 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9.

Antioch Road will be closed between 75th and 67th streets. Local traffic will access their homes or businesses via a side street.

Southbound Antioch traffic will be detoured at Shawnee Mission Parkway to Metcalf, and Metcalf to westbound 75th Street to Antioch. Northbound traffic will take the reverse direction.

Construction crews are installing new storm sewer lines that cross Antioch. Later, a new street surface will be installed as part of a $1 million project. Work is expected to be completed in September.
