Overland Park Police Investigating a Robbery

Overland Park Police are investigating a reported armed robbery in the 7800 Block of Foster Street.

At approximately 2:45 P.M., the victim answered his door where two Hispanic males armed with handguns forced their way inside. Once inside the victim complied with the suspect’s demands. A wallet and several electronic items were taken. The victim was not injured during this incident.

The two suspects are described as Hispanic males both in their early twenties. One was approximately 6’01”, 210 pounds, wearing a red hat and red jacket. The second was approximately 6’00”, 180 pounds, wearing a black hat and red jacket. Both suspects wore red bandanas to cover their face and both were armed with handguns.

The suspects left the area in an early 90’s model vehicle. The vehicle was described to be either a silver Pontiac or Honda. Vehicle was last seen eastbound on 78^th St.
