Morning stabbing investigated

On 08/04/2014 at approximately 02:28AM Overland Park Police Officers responded to the 9000 block of Metcalf in reference to an armed disturbance in a parking lot.

A group of people were in the parking lot engaged in an argument and one person pulled out a knife. During the argument the subject who was armed with the knife possibly stabbed one person.

The person who was stabbed got into and left the area in a gray GMC Yukon with an unknown license plate. As the gray GMC Yukon was leaving the driver intentionally struck the suspect armed with the knife. The suspect was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim who was possibly stabbed with the knife has not been located. The investigation is ongoing.
