Storm sewer work forces closure of 95th Street near Mission Road

Crews plan to close the roadway at 9 a.m. Wednesday through 7 p.m. Sunday for reconstruction of a storm sewer. Work is dependent on weather, which may impact the schedule.

A traffic detour will be in place during construction. Eastbound motorists will be sent south on Mission Road to 103rd Street, then east on 103rd to State Line and back north. Westbound traffic will be detoured at State Line to 103rd, west to Mission Road and back north.

The cities of Leawood and Overland Park and Johnson County Government are participating in the funding of the storm sewer project.
