Overland Park Police Investigating a Stabbing/Suspect in Custody

On April 28th, at 11:00 a.m., Overland Park Police received a 911 call from a female who stated she had been stabbed several times and needed medical assistance. The victim lived in the 10200 block of W. 81st Terrace.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the disturbance involved a domestic relationship between the female victim and her male roommate. The male was arrested and transported to the Johnson County Jail to await charging. The female victim was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.
