Victims Identified in Murder-Suicide

March 17 Update:

At approximately 1:06 AM on March 16^th, 2014, Overland Park Police responded to an unknown type accident in the area of College and Mastin. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male and female deceased inside the vehicle from apparent gunshot wounds.

Overland Park Police Department have investigated this and determined it to be an apparent murder-suicide. The involved parties are identified as Jamie Lee Newkirk, age 27, and Jason Hershey Crabtree, age 33.
