Overland Park police investigating sexual assault on 11 year old

Police investigators are currently seeking information on a sexual assault that occurred Friday morning shortly after 7:00 AM. The incident was reported to have occurred in an apartment complex in the 12400 block of Quivira Road as the 11 year old female was walking to the bus stop.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s, wearing all black clothing, including a hooded sweatshirt. His face was covered by a surgical mask and he also had on a thick pair of camouflaged gardening gloves.
